The Jacob C. Rose series (previously abbreviated to DWFF) is one of the largest series in the Too Many Doctor Who's universe, spanning a total of 6 live-action series and 6 audio waves- totalling to 90 episodes. It mainly follows the adventures of The Proper Bonkers Doctor, but also covers The Moustache Doctor, The Steampunk Doctor - and to a lesser extent, the Peanut Butter and Fuck-Up Doctors.
The series began on 27 December 2014 with The New Doctor, and ended on 27 December 2021 with A Funny Thing That Happened on the Way to the Suburbs.

Series One followed on from the pilot special The New Doctor, and showed The Proper Bonkers Doctor finding his feet, and gaining his first companion in the form of Ninja Bob.

Mini-Spinoff: Ninja[]
A short spinoff was made for Ninja Bob, revealing his return from the grave. This was originally the first part in the 3-part series, but it was never picked up.

Series Two[]
Series Two had a focus on The Doctor's rivalry with The Master, as he returned to plague The Doctor throughout the course of this series. After the release of this series, the minisode Dark Darkness of The Doctor was released, introducing The Steampunk Doctor.

Series Three[]
Series Three was made as a lead-up to Deep Canon, so it introduced changes such as The Doctor's new outfit and sonic screwdriver. After the release of this series, the extra-length special Day of The Moustache aired.

Series Four[]
Series Four was the last series revolving around The Proper Bonkers Doctor, in which he tries to avoid his fate of becoming the Anti-Doctor, thus changing the consequences of his regeneration. Very original. Such ripoff. During this season, the only finished episode from the unmade original Series Four, Murder Mystery of Doom, was released. Whilst not actually being an episode of Series Four, it is sometimes counted as such. This series concluded with The Proper Bonkers Doctor's regeneration in Future Ends, and then the special episodes The Clockwork Menace and The Christmas Miracle were added as Jacob wanted to make more episodes.

Series Five was a long time coming. The Moustache Doctor series was originally supposed to come out in July 2015. It didn't. It has the longest production length of the series, becuase I wrote Hat Attacks over a year before the actual episode came out. It was worth it though maybe?

Special Episodes[]
Since 2018, several live-action episodes were produced, with the Daleks Oh No trilogy. In addition, Cave of the Baggels begun a set of summer minisodes, with Dreamland & Deathly Lamps being two parts of a trilogy created by Jacob and Jessica. Further special episodes were made outside of the 'wave' structure, being released at random intervals. This includes the 2020 Scatman trilogy (or, alternatively, the 'Skatrilogy') featuring the new rogue Time Lord known as the Scatman and written by Jacob and Oli in the height of the first COVID-19 lockdown.

Short Trips[]
The Short Trips series is a simpler, more improvised set of audios, released at random intervals. It was announced on 26 July 2021 that Featuring The Doctor would be "the *epic* finale of PB's (not so) Short Trips series".[1]

Wave Four: To Bloody Hell & Back[]
At the end of The Greatest Play in the Galaxy, it was confirmed The Proper Bonkers Doctor would return in Wave 4 for A Sequence of Regrettable Happenings. This was later pushed back to 2019, due to time constraints. Release of this wave was significantly slower due to Jacob's academic and personal life.
In 2020, the final three episodes of Wave 4 were released in weekly format, completing the 'Waves' of this series.

Post-Wave 4 Releases[]
After Wave 4, the series was 'freed' from the wave format, and returned to irregular releases. On TMDWS Day 2021, A Funny Thing That Happened on the Way to the Suburbs was announced to be the final episode in the series, releasing on 27 December that year- the 7th anniversary of the series.
